Producing tactile graphics on monarch

Is it possible for users to create their own tactile graphics on the Monarch directly?

With Wing It, an image can be drawn on the iPad to show up on the Monarch, but can it be reversed? An image can be typed on the Monarch and then show up as lines in print?

Hi Arianne! :sunny:

For the most part, it isn’t possible to draw directly on the Monarch yet - Wing-It and use of graphics software or JPG/PDF links and downloads/uploads are our best options right now.

What you can do on the Monarch is use the Braille Editor to create spatial drawings - number lines, basic shapes, chemical diagrams, braille dot drawings and more - and these can be saved as BRF files and then opened and printed using braille transcription or translation software (Duxbury, Braille 2000, etc.)
