Course Description: What if learning braille could feel like play—full of sound, touch, and immediate feedback? That’s exactly what Polly® offers: an interactive electronic device designed to teach early braille literacy, including reading, typing, writing, spelling, and vocabulary, through engaging, game-based activities. This course equips educators to confidently use Polly with students for learning and reinforcing braille concepts. By exploring the device’s features and the unique online Helios platform, you’ll learn to assign content, monitor progress, and apply best practices for maintaining the device and supporting student growth.

- Describe the core features and educational purpose of Polly as a tool to support emerging braille learners.
- Operate and navigate the Polly device and orient others to its tactile, audio, and interactive components.
