Dear friends of the Southwest,
Happy October to you!
Are you, or do you know, a science teacher of blind students? Please see below from University of Pennsylvania.
Hi all,
If you are a blind student or teacher who has worked with a blind student taking science lab classes, please take 4 minutes to fill out the below survey. This project is being lead by a former national scholarship winner who is making medical school and the pursuit of health care professions more accessible for blind people. Find the link and message from the lead below:
I am conducting a survey as part of a project at the University of Pennsylvania focused on creating a VR-based inclusive science lab. This lab would allow blind and low vision students to fully participate in activities such as dissections that are often inaccessible in traditional wet labs, with the goal of reducing barriers to medical and healthcare careers.
Cheers,
Gene
