Hey guys!
I am new to this discussion board. I have to do 6 posts. I wanted to introduce myself and let you know a little about myself. My name is Krissy Vannoy and I am from West Virginia. I have been a Teacher of the Visually Impaired for the past 7 years. I live in Kanawha county and am Lead TVI in my area. I have been teaching for the past 16 years and can say every day is different. I have been married to my highs school sweetheart for 17 year but we have been together for 22 years. We have two beautiful children Seth who is 12 and Lilly who is 9. I am so excited to start this opportunity for my students! Thank you all for putting up with me in advance!
Hello and welcome to the Discussion Board Krissy! As a lead TVI in your area, I am sure you will have many valuable contributions to make to the variety of topics already posted. Feel free to also share any questions you would like to collaborate with other professionals on solving. Looking forward to your future posts! Alicia Wolfe; Outreach Specialist for SE Region
Welcome to the discussion board.
When one works as a TVI, it is very easy to feel alone and isolated. But please feel free to ask questions of the discussion board, if there is anything you need.
Welcome!
Hi,
My name is Lindsay. I am a current student in the TVI program at San Francisco State University. In addition to completing my studies, I work at California State University Long Beach in the students white disabilities office. Iām excited to see how the Monarch will help my current students in higher education and my future students in K-12.
