Course Description: How do educators meet their legal responsibility to prepare students with visual impairments for lifelong success? This course explores the principles and practices of the Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC) and its essential role in supporting student outcomes. Participants will examine the roles of educators serving students with visual impairments, align IDEA requirements with ECC practices, and gain a deeper understanding of how the ECC supports independence, education, and employment.
