Share the professional opportunities in your area here. Summer Institute for Educators at WSSB is the last week of July. EPIQ is June 26-30 online. If you are looking for a chance to learn an accessible programing language.
I made it to a few of the EPIQ sessions the week of June 26-30, they were fantastic! Thanks for sharing, @lweilbacher!
They are pretty fun and informative
I encourage everyone to attend EPIQ, even if you won’t de directly teaching computer science. It is a great way to get a beginner’s background.
And it is fun!
I am writing to inform you about the ongoing opportunities at WSSB. We are thrilled to announce that we have received numerous enrollment referrals for our comprehensive programs designed for students in grades 6 - 12. If you are contemplating enrolling your student at WSSB for the upcoming school year, we encourage you to submit a referral promptly. This will ensure that your student can start their journey with WSSB on the first day of school without any delays.
Additionally, we have limited spots remaining for our Empower Camp, specifically the Urban Explorer Culinary Camp. This camp is tailored for 11-14 year olds and is scheduled for the last week of June.
We are also excited to share that our Short Courses schedule and registration for the next school year will be released soon. We aim to offer 8 short courses across diverse areas. Given the high demand for Short Courses this year, we anticipate a waiting list for many of these opportunities.
For more information, please visit our Empower Summer Camp and Comprehensive Programs Enrollment pages.
EPIQ will be in-person at WSSB this year. July 8-12
Summer Institute for Educators will be at WSSB July 29-AuG 1 for Gen Ed teachers, paras and new to the field folks
