Teacher of the Visually Impaired in rural Tennessee. Currently have seven schools I serve on my caseload. I became a TVI after working with a totally blind student in developmental preschool and from my own experience with a visual impairment in one eye from facial paralysis from a brain tumor. It helps me to relate to my students and show them how they too can overcome these issues and become successful adults in their life.
