Enroll in this course to gain access to critical information about CVI based on relevant research which guides educators to use a structured framework to gather data. Participants will learn to utilize the CVI Companion Guide to better understand CVI and its behavioral implications. _Special thanks to the New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired for their partnership with developing this course._ **ACVREP Credit Hours:** 1.5 **Objectives** - Identify 4 core beliefs about the assessment process as it relates to assessing children with CVI. - Describe how the CVI Companion Guide fits within the overall assessment process. - Illustrate how information gathered using the CVI Profile Form describes the impact of CVI for a child’s visual functioning and overall development. - Distinguish how information gathered using the CVI Profile Form applies to both the Functional Vision and Learning Media Assessments.
